Think of the last time you watched a bird fly – It’s one of those sights that I grew up admiring. I’ve often stared endlessly at their wings and watched them disappear into the clouds wishing, as children do, that I could do the same. It was the sense of freedom that came from taking flight that attracted me and made me wonder what it would take for all of us to feel just as free. Apart from the freedom guaranteed by the constitution of our great country one’s true freedom comes with economic freedom. When one can earn money and spend on the right things, one can use his earnings to bring up his family, to be able to help someone in need and of course, to help oneself. In my view, there is no freedom like the ability to write a cheque. Financial stability gives us our wings.
